Little India is a popular hangout for the Indian community in Singapore, lined with religious and cultural landmarks – including a mix of Hindu and Chinese temples. In Mustafa, we saw objects used in worship; sarees – the traditional garment of India, Bangladesh, and other countries in the Indian subcontinent; and sarong kebayas, with distinctive patterns that reminded us of Singapore Airlines’ flight attendants – the Singapore Girl. This reflects the culture and heritage of Singapore, and promotes the Singapore identity, blending all as one in an organized chaos that can only be accomplished by Mustafa.

All items are stacked, including shoes on basement 1 and 2 – be it men’s shoes or ladies’ shoes, sports shoes or formal shoes. This got us confused – are these brands real or fake? The price reveals one thing, but the disregard for product display says otherwise.
